Curriculum:
- Shot stopping ๐: Goalkeepers need to be able to make saves against a variety of different shots, including low, hard drives, high, looping balls, and shots from close range ๐ฏ. Training focuses on proper positioning, footwork, and technique for making saves with the hands, body, and feet ๐ฆถ.
- Diving ๐โโ๏ธ: Goalkeepers must be able to dive to make saves on shots that are out of reach or difficult to get to with the hands ๐. Training focuses on proper technique for diving to both sides, as well as how to get back up quickly after making a save ๐.
- Distribution ๐ฏ: Goalkeepers need to be able to distribute the ball accurately and effectively to their teammates ๐ค. Training focuses on footwork and technique for throwing the ball, as well as how to judge the best times and places to pass the ball ๐ฆต.
- 1 v 1 ๐ฅ
: Goalkeepers need to be able to handle one-on-one situations effectively, whether it's making a save against an attacker or coming off their line to challenge a shot ๐ช. Training focuses on proper positioning and technique for dealing with these situations ๐งค.
- Managing Angles ๐: Goalkeepers need to be able to position themselves effectively to cut down the angle and make it harder for attackers to score ๐ฅ

- Foot-Skills ๐ฆถ: Goalkeepers need to be able to control and pass the ball accurately with their feet, as well as use their feet to make saves โฝ. Training focuses on footwork, ball control, and technique for using the feet in different situations ๐โโ๏ธ.

To ensure a positive training experience for all students, all new prospective students are required to complete an application and evaluation process. This step allows our staff to assess each student's skills and determine the most suitable training environment.

Evaluation Invitation ๐
- Once we receive your application, our team will carefully review it. You'll be invited to an evaluation session if it aligns with ou objectives and requirements program's object. This step is crucial to determine if SGC is the right fit for you. ๐ง
Acceptance into the Shutout Goalkeeper Camp ๐
- After a successful evaluation, you'll be accepted into the SGC and receive registration information for the 2025 Winter SGC.
